Interview with Ted James

1.  Favorite thing about the Replacements?  "You're my favorite thing!" Seriously, it's the songs, of course.

2.  Replacements history?  I was digging through a pile of CDs in a pawn shop in 1989 and happened upon a used copy of "Don't Tell a Soul." I figured that it was time for something new. I'd heard the name, but I didn't recall ever hearing their music. So I plopped down six bucks and took it home for a listen. I was hooked immediately. "I'll Be You" became one of my all-time
favorite songs ever. And then I got to see them live twice on their last tour and became a fan for life. It didn't take me long to buy all of their CDs. I've been having a blast over the last 10 years collecting all of the B-sides and rarities.

3.  Why bother to pay tribute to 'em?  Because they are my favorite thing!
